About Me

Being simultaneously a relational person and an introvert, I’ve been described as a trained extrovert. I’m passionate about learning, experimenting, and continually searching for ways technology can benefit the people around me. All of which are enabled by my self-diagnosed toxic trait of changing calendar/productivity apps every other week.

Experience

Z Collective

Research Analyst 1.2024 - Present

At Z Collective I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of the time series anomaly detection (TSAD) team, for which I was responsible for exploring the potential use of TSAD in the kernel space. Recently I shifted to the cloud native team, as my partner had to take a step back due to life circumstances. In this role I’m collaborating with a student on a cloud native machine learning service, and creating the associated documentation.

Digital Technology

IT Portfolio Management Consultant 01.2024 - 5.2024

This role was through our business consulting class, and gave me the opportunity to experience the discovery process from an external consultant’s perspective. We were tasked with analyzing the current processes, researching industry standards, and proposing improvements to the current processes. My role on the team was data manager, in which I was responsible for organizing and analyzing the team’s notes and research to help direct future discovery efforts.

Honeywell

Future IT Leaders Masters Intern 5.2023 - 8.2023

During my second internship I inadvertently ended up in a data analyst role after the project management role I was initially assigned to lost funding. As a result I got experience working with large datasets containing multiple years of department sales data, as well as multiple data analysis and visualization tools. Our intern group project was to create a dashboard to monitor the access system’s data and identify trends in crashes or issues caused by exceeding system capacity.

    Experience (Cont.)

    Honeywell

    Future IT Leaders Intern 5.2022 - 8.2022

During my first internship I had the opportunity to experience multiple roles. I shadowed the solutions architect for my manager’s primary project, was the driver and advocate for our intern group project to automate server patching via Tanium, went through the full site discovery process to document legacy labelling systems, and created a dashboard that measured migration progress, priority, as well as flagged and logged error sequences that indicated potential undiscovered legacy systems.

    Projects

Business Applications for Deep Learning Models

    MIS 548 - Deep Learning - 2024

Conducted research on existing uses of ML/DL in Time Series Anomaly Detection (TSAD), implemented a promising model on BETH dataset to gauge it’s effectiveness in kernel level TSAD. It performed well given the size of the dataset, but due to the computational complexity of the model it wouldn’t be a practical solution for real-time TSAD.

    Side Quest Repository

    Personal Project - 2024

As I accumulated a list of topics I wanted to learn more about, but didn’t have time in the moment to properly reseach, I decided to create a program I could feed a term, topic, or title, and have it cycle through a series of GPT prompts to go from initial idea to a contextually grounded overview of the topic.

    Web Based Database Application

    MIS 531 - Enterprise Data Management - 2023

Designed and implemented a web based database application capable of supporting day-to-day business operations and decision making.

    MLOps as a Service

    MIS 547 - Cloud Computing - 2023

Archetyped a MLOps as a Service using offerings from AWS, and created end-to-end implementation strategy.

    Fake News Detection with LLMs

    MIS 529 - Deception Detection - 2023

Wrote script to leverage GPT-3 API to detect fake news in articles from the LIAR dataset.
